Looking for travel tips

I am planning a personal trip to Chicago during the second weekend of June, so I can get away from my humdrum life and have a little fun. I already know I'm stopping by the Apple Store, and returning to Volare, but I'm not sure what else I'm going to do. Do you have any hotel recommendations?
