Kill Facebook while you're at it

While I understand Apple's decision to block Myspace.com from the computers in their Apple Stores, I wonder if that decision will backfire.

Will this lead to an ugly rumor that "Myspace doesn't work with Macs", and stifle the recent increase in Mac sales?

(Note: MySpace does work on Macs, in case you were planning on quoting me out of context.)
