Well, that was quite an episode of the X-Files! We had a child being born in a mangy place, we had a bright light in the sky leading Mulder to the blessed event, and at the end, we had three wise guys bearing gifts. However, I don't remember the Bible saying that Joseph and Mary got it on afterwards....

Final music note of today... I just got around to purchasing Buildings and Grounds by the band Papas Fritas, and it's super-cool. Much better than that crappy green Weezer album. Hop on LimeWire and download Papas Fritas' song Way You Walk. You won't be disappointed.

Ok, some comments about music...

1. Last night's Rufus Wainwright concert was absolutely wonderful. I love the new songs he performed, and I can tell the new album is going to be a hit.

2. I just listened to Weezer's new Green Album, and as a whole, it sucks. The track order is crummy, the songs have zero enthusiasm, and it's not catchy. Go buy one of their previous two albums again, if you want your money's worth.

I've been so naughty! I haven't posted in forever! This summer is bringing me down... it's dreary and depressing and mildly stressing. I sleep in and go to my summer class and talk online. For criminy's sake, call me!

I am committed to writing an album's worth of songs this summer. I hate being a music major and not flexing my creativity, so it will happen. The songs will be written, and that is that. No excuses. I've even got my album title picked out and the theme to match, so watch out!
