Once upon a time, there was an old man who lived down the street that Jeff lives on. Whenever he was driving and saw Jeff in his car or getting out of his car, the old man would either shake his fist at Jeff or flip Jeff the bird. Jeff doesn't know what he did to invoke the rage of the elderly, but he figures it could only be 1) Jeff's non-American car, 2) Jeff's driving style, or 3) Jeff's beautiful bleached hair. Jeff is contemplating walking down the street and asking the man what the big fat deal is.

Today a girl cancelled a date with me in perhaps the most painful way I've ever experienced: by telling me she totally forgot (and then giving me a couple of excuses why she can't make it).

I was thinking.... if the DMCA prohibits "circumvention devices", wouldn't debuggers (like the venerable MacsBug) count? Should we uphold secure media control over crappy code?

I'm kind of interested in becoming Amish, but so far, they haven't emailed me back.
